The property in Kirkoswald opened in January following it's complete refurbishment both inside and out. You can be assured that the same standards, menus and service as the Cochrane Inn will be available at Soutar Johnnie's, which is perfectly situated to allow a quick lunch or beer stop before or after a round of golf, or indeed a sightseeing trip to the wonderful attractions on the West Coast.
Cochrane Inn is the ideal place to stop over when travelling to, or from Ayrshire. It is easily accessible from the A77 and has become THE place for casual dining in Ayrshire. The staff are warm and friendly and the menus are designed to make sure that there is something for everyone.
From the ivy covered exterior of the building right the way through to the restaurant you will notice the attention to detail, and whether your taste is Smoked Haddock or Cajun Chicken or Roasted Halibut you will be delighted by what is served from Cochrane Inn kitchens. The busy bar has a wide range of beers and spirits, and you will be impressed by the range of Fine Wines offered in this 'pub'.
The Alloway Inn recently opened at the beginning of May 2007. A comfortable Inn where you can enjoy excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere.
From Farmhouse Pate, Boiled Duck Egg with Prawns to Steak, Ale and Sausage Pie – and being in Burns Country Haggis wi’ Neeps and Tatties with or without a wee dram. A visit to The Alloway Inn can be a culinary delight and with a large selection of beers and spirits we just know you'll enjoy the trip.
